Curiosity without borders

My passion is documenting biodiversity across all scales — from vertebrates and flowering plants to invertebrates and microscopic life. My main interest lies in cryptogams — lichens, mosses, algae, and especially charophytes — alongside a wide range of other organisms. These include amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, butterflies, dragonflies, and other insects, as well as plants such as orchids and carnivorous plants.

Based in Slovakia, I focus mainly on Central European habitats, particularly forests, wetlands, and mountain ecosystems, while also exploring a variety of other habitats around the world. I photograph in the field, and when needed, also study specimens in a home laboratory, depending on the level of detail required. My goal is to map biodiversity, contribute to its documentation and understanding, and create an artistic record of the natural world.
