FEATURED PHOTOS OF THE MONTH #11 (March 2004) |
Weather in March was not very good, it was mostly raining, especially during weekends (of course).
I went once to Boise Papineau in Laval, once to Botanical Garden in Montreal and once to Ecomuseum in Montreal.
Botanical Garden in Montreal maintains a great greenhouse. I needed to see some green. Orchids were in full bloom as were bromelias.
I enjoyed it a lot. Here is one of Guzmanias.

Ecomuseum de Montreal is a great place to practice and therefore I never miss an oportunity to go there. I enjoy animals
outside as well as inside the visitor centre. This time I focused on Snowy Owls. They have one new immature/female bird,
shown on the photo bellow. The photo was taken through the fence and because of the bad background I decided
to go for a closer framing.

It seems that the winter is over here in Montreal. First migrants start to appear, I saw many Blackbirds, starlings, flying geese.
I can not wait for first songbirds!
