FEATURED PHOTOS OF THE MONTH #15 (July 2004) |
July was quite productive. These feeding Barn Swallows were taken on
a family trip. I didn't have my tripod with me, so I had to handheld my
EF 400/5.6 (640 mm effective).

On July 11 I went to Krizna in Velka Fatra National Park with my best friend
Martin Dobrota, who is now employed as a ranger in the park. It was a beautiful
trip and also very productive. Was there any unproductive trip with Dobrota? I don't
think so!
Here is a view of the Kralova skala, which lays just bellow Krizna,
about 2 km westward and the next image is a moth I found on a halfway to Krizna.
Very inconspicuous species, but in a closer view very beautiful.
