FEATURED PHOTOS OF THE MONTH #17 (September 2004) |
September is a shorebird month. Due to reconstruction of our apartment
I didn't have much time in September, but I had enough time to spend
a few beautiful evenings and mornings at Besenova Dam - my favorite place.
Shorebirds there are never present in large quantities (up to 30 birds) but I have
already seen more than 15 species at Besenova. The most common Calidris there is
for sure Dunlin. Here is a series of photos of one from one evening. Enjoy!
