MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
I didn't have acces to the Internet from October to December. At the same time
my computer had crashed and needed reinstallation. During reinstallation I have lost some
of my best files, even though I backed up all my files to second hard drive.
I relied on two copies on two HDDs, but that was not enough. From now on I will continue to burn
backups on DVDs and store it at a separate place (in my Mom's house). It was a hard lesson learned.
On 20th of November I have setup an automatic birdfeeder near Besenova Dam. My goal is
to photograph most of our winter residents there. Now I have a second feeder there, since
the first one had dissapeared. It was probably stolen.
I have already 5 species coming to the feeder: Great Tit, Blue Tit, Greenfinch,
Hawfinch, and Tree Sparrow. There are more species gathering around, so I hope to
attract more of them.
Bellow are some of the images I made during my 4 visits there. I am preparing a special
chapter about my "feeder" project. It will be in "Articles" section.
