One of my photos was chosen as a winner photo in a Slovak national competition in Birdlife's
"Europe's Alive" online photographic competition in "Birds' Portraits" category. The same photo was highly commended (third prize)
in the final competition from all EU countries. The winning photos will be displayed in The European Parlament.

- a major upgrade - now there are two options to browse my images -
when you are in a subcategory view, you can choose to view thumbnails
(by clicking on a thumbnail) or list of species photographed (by cliking
on a "List" link.
- because of this I changed naming of images - now the scientific name is
first, followed by the common name of the species. It is easier to list scientific
names alphabetically, as they always start with a genus name.

- New site officially launched. The site is now based on php pages dynamically created from mySQL database. The scripting is based on largely customized Coppermine Photo Gallery. One of the main benefits are: easy upload of new pictures and search capability (see the desciption under the search link).
